With respect to the "NOVA" mode of ventilation, are we actually discussing "NAVA" or Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist? Neurally triggered respirations via the Edi catheter are an interesting tool that could be used in weaning when traditional techniques fail or in the assisted ventilation of patients who suffer from neuromuscular disease. I don't have any experience with NAVA but it sounds promising. More info from Maquet can be found here.

How do you get into the "drop in"? My password for thie RT Space did not work on the drop in. I was attempting to view the Servo I powerpoint.

we just recieved our servo i and it's still in the way of arrangement and we prepare it to be use after al hajj so we make sure everybody get the idea and the new technology .
As i dicussed with one of the company representer, he mentioned that there is 2 hospitals allready using this mode and according to hem there is a positive data well be anounce and i well try to know this two centers.

Its good to use all the modes in this incredible Ventilator, I wish that we could upgrade our Servo i software, to use the noninvasive modes..

regarding the use of servo i . did anybody use the Nova mode? and is there a research going on in 2 hospital in riyadh concened the outcome of this mode ,according to what we heared?
