Rcp is for the rmt who is working as respiratory therapist while rt is for the graduates of bachelor in respiratory therapy.

Yes I agree. The funny thing is that I know of a few fully credentialed RTs that preferred to be labeled as RCP because they see the term RT as being old fashioned and outdated!?

But let’s talk about names for the fun of it. Are we RTs (Respiratory Therapists) OR are we RCPs (Respiratory Care Practitioners)??? Which is more politically correct?
