Dear Prem,

Hi Prem,

What exactly are you looking for as regards humidification? I disseminated a study a while back by Brochard and others in which they showed that active humidification isn't all it's supposedly touted to be (heats more than humidifies and that can desicate the airways more than if cooler and more RH). Also I did a talk as regards the whole issue of instilling saline.

If you send me your private email I can send you a YouSendIt email from which you could then download a big zipped file with all my studies and the talk (use WinZip).

my home email is whitnack@pacbell.net

I don't know of any webpage per se I could recommend as regards humidification. A lot of people are partisan as regards active humidification vs. HME's for a variety of reasons. $$ being a big one.

Take it easy,

Jeff
