Noel Pendergast replied to Stephanie's discussion I'm a new grad...can somebody PLEASE explain VC+ to me?
"Hi there! VC+ (on the 840) is pretty much exactly the same as Pressure Regulated Volume Control on some other vents. You set a volume, but the ventilator delivers a pressure control type breath with variable flow (patient effort/dynamic dependent)…"

Hi Noel,

How are you? I applied for an immigrant in Canada, last month the Canadian High Commission had requested us to undergo a medical exam.
I just want ask your help if you can advice me where can i get or buy a reviewer for the Canadian Board exam for respiratory therapist. I read the CBRC By Laws that my credentialed RRT-NPS are eligible to challenge that exam. I have the Respiratory Therapist reviewer by James R. Sills which I used in my NBRC exam. I'll appreciate it if you will give some information on how or where can I buy the reviewer.

Thanks & regards,
Chris Lim

Thanks! we are still striving to make a big changes here in NICU but seems it takes very slowly, NICU had started the Noenatal transport course and Bruce MacRaet is the proctor, oh men he's so good!, And we are just waiting for the go signal to start the neonatal trasport team to be activated here in Doha.We are also looking forward to go with the high risk deliveries, like when we used to do in K.S.A.
I'm preparing myself for neonatal/pediatric specialty credential (NPS)for NBRC.
Sure,I will send your regards to Fred and the rest of the RT here. Godbless.

Hello Noel,
I've graduated from Prince Sultan college of Health Sciences in Dhahran "East region"

I've graduated with AS degree, but unfortunately I'm still not eligible for CRT and RRT Examination. I'm working in Prince Sultan Cardiac Center since Feb 2007, ICU Respiratory Therapists. The experience in our hospital, mostly limited to cardiac patients. Our practice involves "High Frequency Ventilation, Nitric Oxide, balloon-pump", added to the usual RCP duties.
Unfortunately I never work with Canadian RTs.
I study at Loma Linda University, for now, to be eligible for CRT & RRT.

Nice to hear from you noel, Keep in touch..
