Hi again Gail. Sorry to hear that you were having a rough day. I work in a similar sized facility, we are a 49 bed facility cut back to a 25 bed CAH hospital. We are trying very hard to maintain our CAH status for the obvious reasons, but we have grown so much in the last 2 years that we are always on the verge of bing closed due to census. We have a 6 bed ICU, and we are expanding our ED from 10 to 17 beds. We also have been having similar issues with vent patients. In the year prior to Oct 08 I think we had 2 or 3 vent patients that we didn't ship out of the ED, and since then we have had at least one running 5 days a week.

Hi Gail. Cody is a very nice town, a little on the touristy side, I was just wondering what it was like to live there? I have passed thur a couple of times, and I have even stopped by the hospital in 2000 and considered putting in an aplication. It looked like a very nice facility.
