This is my third semester in the respiratory program. Started clinicals this semester and i love it. I really know this is for me!!! All i can say is that there is a light at the end of the tunnel dont let the difficulty of the program put you down before you get to clinicals. They really open your eyes and then everything starts coming together and making sense

Just start RT program in 5th week .... going to clinicals in a couple of weeks trying to be an ABG expert .... if you google abg interpretation quiz a link to a good site comes up

Day 3 of RT program @ DMC in Texas, and I love it!  Very intimidating, but exciting at the same time.  Good luck to all you students and here's hoping we survive the next couple of years!!!  :D

Hello all, this is my 1st time on this site.. i hoping that i will find answers in this site. pretty much am rounding up with a dual degree in few months from and i always dreamt of becoming a MD and my grades so far seemed to have helped in nurturing those dreams but !!! i came across RT that i only heard off 2years ago and i can take it off my mind. i am hopping that by the time my convocation ceremony takes place i must have learned and have gotten all the answers i require to ensure that i am making the right choice to walk away from my long MD dream to RT cause i feel like it my call. aside i just started a blog you all welcome to read and comment pretty much is about my aspiration in becoming an RT and hopefully i will blog till the day i will finally be tittled as an RRT for now i will say i am an RT in the making. nice to meet you all and am hoping to hear your take and what was that click for you as an RT or RT to be

Im glad the BSRT program at charlotte didnt get ended like I had heard it was going to six or so months ago! and no the hospitals around here generally dont hire in new grads to nicu ..... in fact they dont hire much students.... it seems like the economy has hit our area badly as it has many others.... I've had to go out of my neck of the woods to find a job... I had interviewed for a nicu and picu job at John's Hopkins, and I might be able to get the picu job there fingers crossed! But I would really like something a bit closer! :( You have any openings where you are working.... in the nicu?

only 6 weeks to go!! i'm currently attending san joaquin valley college in bakersfield, but i'm moving back home to Houston once I finish.
