GUys, how deep must that suction catheter go?

I need some feedbacks on your hospital's PPG's about suctioning intubated pt. especially on NICU/PICU settings. Thanks

in our PPG were using the right size of suction catheter and pressure. if the patient is intubated suction first the E.T, if there is secreation in nasal, nasal first ther oral, during suctioning in E.T use ambu bag give atleast 8 breaths to do the procedure less than 10 seconds even in the adult... sometimes were using the nss for lavage but in pedia(PICU) and ICU everytime we do the suctioning were going to lavage or flash the 2 2 3 ml NSS ambubag then suction
