Accepting applications for positions in Kuwait

Our Cardiac Center is accepting applications for several positions from Respiratory Therapists with 5 or more years experience and a Bachelor of Science degree. We are looking for individuals to provide respiratory care services to neonates, pediatrics and/or Adults. RTs will mainly work in the ICUs, on the emergency response team and occasionally spend time on the wards.  Opportunities are available for individuals who in addition would like to become BLS, PALS and ACLS instructors.

Candidates must have strong respiratory therapy skills and demonstrated good critical thinking skills. Individuals need an understanding of when to suggest and how to implement therapies and strategies such as different modes of ventilation, using protective lung settings on conventional ventilation, when to transition to and from HFOV, when to stop or start certain medications including medical gases such as Nitric Oxide, Heliox, Carbox, and N2.  You must be able to help identify when the care plan is not working and needs to be changed.  Communication with nursing and the physicians is a must.
