Join us at the 10th anniversary FOCUS on Respiratory Care & Sleep Medicine Conference taking place May 13-15, 2010 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida and remember, for this milestone event, all attendees can bring their significant-others with them to enjoy every aspect of the conference (except CEU's) for only $!00 ! Department Directors, as a result of a special pool of funds contributed to by the exhibitors and FOCUS, can bring their singificant others for FREE! department directors get to bring their significant others for free - all of which allows for an exceptional value and a great opportunity foir you and loved one to have a nice mini-getaway vacation that is totally tax deductible !

Our 10th anniversary conference is poised to be our biggest and best ever. We'll be featuring such speakers as Bob Kacmarek, John Marini, John Downs, John Hodgkin, William Dement and Frankie Roman, just to name a few as well as two keynote addresses The Coronado Resort will be providing beautiful, totally re-modeled accommodations, our “Beach Boys” dance/concert will be a blast and our comedy night with “Rodney Dangerfield” and “Joan Rivers” and musical-comedy act "The Laryngospasms", will be a lot of fun. We’ve also got many surprises up our sleeves including our giveaway of a 2010 Ford FOCUS automobile or $10,000 cash (your choice) to a lucky attendee !!!

The conference itself will provide 16-18 CEU’s which will be approved by the AARC and the AAST. An additional 2 credits (for a total of 18) are available if you attend one of our optional early-bird breakfast workshops on Thursday morning May 13th and we will again be offering the Asthma Educator & Case Manager Workshop the day before the conference (which provides an additional 6 CEU’s.)
New, this year is an entire afternoon of free management and education lectures for Department Directors and School Program Directors that provide four bonus CEU’s at no charge. This additional afternoon of lectures will then be followed by a FOCUS-hosted cocktail party for those managers and their significant-others – again, at no charge !

Of course, we’ll be repeating our highly successful 5K Race/Walk for adults and our 1K race for children as well.

Our exhibit hall will be open Thursday evening from 5pm – 8pm and will feature a wonderful reception with free hors’ d’oeuvres and beer wine and soft drinks. The exhibit hall is also open all day Friday with coffee in the morning and a second reception later that evening.

I would be more inclined to attend if the Focus Conference was a little less political in its appearance. I am not sure what Michael Moore was doing on the advertisement for the 2009 conference, but I don't think I would put a lot of credibility in anything he has to say. Just my 2 cents.

Nice to know and what a better place for the FOCUS Conference of Walt Disney World. These people here in Kitchener, ON, Canada would be so Jealous of me! Going there in my next toy the ICON A-5 would definitely be an added bonus for the fun of it all as if I have to be the female version of Schwartzenegger!
